|Libyan officials cross Ras Jedir border point|
|RAS JEDIR, May 15, 2011 (TAP)- Several Libyan officials, on Sunday, crossed the Tunisian-Libyan border via the border crossing of Ras Jedir, heading to the Island of Djerba.
They include, according to TAP correspondent in Medenine, the Secretary for Co-operation Affairs and External Communication of the Arab Libyan Jamahirya, the Director of Libyan Customs Ameur Diou, the Arab League Representative Ali Essid and the Secretary of Electronic Trades Co-operative as well as the Co-ordinator of External Relations for African and Arab Affairs.
This visit is part of diplomatic efforts aimed to find a solution to the Libyan crisis.
Some sources told TAP correspondent that several officials close to the Gaddafi regime are currently visiting the Island of Djerba.
